The importance of representation in clinical development.
Explore the history and origins of racial disparities in clinical development, and learn how TrialSpark is working to increase access for the benefit of all patients.
Historically, clinical research has only included a narrow subset of the broader population. Factors such as systemic inequity and resulting mistrust, hard to reach trial sites, and other barriers to entry have strained efforts for clinical trials to be more inclusive of underrepresented populations. TrialSpark is centering inclusivity and patient diversity into our next generation clinical development engine. In this paper we share our approach to enhancing representation in clinical research.
